We hope Thanksgiving treated you well and you got nice and stuffed….cause we are about to stuff you some more!!!
First, the When a Good Heart Sways EP will be available everywhere on Jan. 3rd, 2025! You can even digitally pre-order it in all the fun places starting Dec. 13th! We may due a limited physical run sometime next year for all the OG’s and collectors, but that is news for another day.
Dec. 20th!! Weather featuring Aaron Nordstrom (Gemini Syndrome, Woyote) will drop for all you lovelies to hear. Was that it? Oh, no way!! Dec. 17th at 2pm PT, we drop the Official lyric video (here) for Weather for you all to enjoy. This track is beautiful and brooding, but if you wanna know more….gotta ask the guy with lyrics…
“I’ll attempt to be short…ish. This was one of those songs we knew pretty early on needed to happen. Weather is a weird mix of fable and poem. It is basically the decision made when it dawns on you that sometimes people close to you will never grow or see past their selfish, negative, and toxic behaviors and despite what you have grown accustomed to believing, you can walk away.
As far as working with Aaron. I have had the privilege of calling Aaron a friend for quite a while. Longer that PWO has been together. He has always been a supporter of ours. He is personally also one of my musical heroes. For a while, we have discussed the idea of him jumping on a song and I just never could find the perfect song. I came to the realization that there is never gonna be a “perfect song”, but while writing Weather, I just kept hearing his voice. I approached him with the demo, and the ask. He didn’t even flinch. The whole process was fun and one for the bucket list. I hope this song helps you guys as much as it did for me to get it out of my head.”
